Facebook News – Facebook will start paying UK news agencies to publish news. For this, they are going to launch a new feature ‘Facebook News’ in January. It has already been launched in the United States.
However, the news published in it will be such that it has not been published on any platform before. Hundreds of UK newspapers and media outlets have already signed deals with Facebook. These include the Guardian’s media group Hearst (Cosmopolitan, L, Esscar), the regionally influential media organization JPI Media and the Midland News Association. Facebook hopes that many more media outlets will join the facility once it officially launches.
The ‘Facebook News’ tab is only available in the mobile app, not in any web browser.
