16 Days of Activism- End Violence Against Women- This is an international campaign. The16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence held every year to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign take place from 25th November to 10th December each year.

This year, 2020, The UN System’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence activities took place under 2020 global theme: “Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!”

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a Human Rights Day. It was started in 1991 by the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute, held by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) at Rutgers University.

Since 1991, more than 6,000 organizations from 187 countries took part in the campaign.
