The benefits of a little walk after eating

Everyone knows that it is better to walk a little after eating. This time the New Zealand researchers confirmed this.

Researchers at the University of Otago suggest that people with type 2 diabetes should take a short walk after eating. It reduces the amount of sugar in the blood and brings benefits.

They say that it is better to walk a little after eating to reduce blood sugar than to walk for 30 minutes at any time of the day.
Research articles have been published in the journal Diabetologia.

Andrew Reynolds, author of the research paper, said the study found that walking after a meal showed blood sugar levels averaging 12 percent lower.

The best benefits are found in walking after dinner. Walking after dinner has been shown to reduce blood sugar levels by up to 22 percent.
