What are the common symptoms of patients?

According to the National Cancer Research Institute, more than 1.5 lakh people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the country.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in Bangladesh.

Due to social conservatism, where women in Bangladesh do not want to utter the word breast in public, they keep it a secret even if there are any initial signs in the body, which is why most patients seek medical help at the very last stage.

Dhaka Central International Medical College Professor. Nazneen Nahar said that not only women but also men can be affected by breast cancer. However, the risk is higher in women.

She said, “Since there is a lack of awareness about breast cancer in Bangladesh, it is seen that most of those who come for treatment come to the last stage.

Most of the time they bring a wheel to the breast. Many people get sores on the nipple or itching on the black part around the nipple. “

“In case of some people nipples begin to secrete milky white juices. Rarely do they show signs of pain or redness of the breasts.”
