The chemical mixture that the researchers created was completely successful in experiments on rats. Researchers are trying to start the first phase (phase-one) clinical trial. To be sure, however, the human body must be tested.
According to Professor Sushant Banerjee, after conducting research for about 10 years, it was found that the human body has a special gene called ‘CCN-5’, which acts as a tumor suppressor; Inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It was also observed that triple negative breast cancer cells no longer grow when the CCN-5 gene is injected into the body from the outside. The oncogenic properties of those cells are declining. The amount of cancer stem cells is also decreasing. It is also seen that this CCN-5 gene is not active at all in the body of a patient with triple negative breast cancer.
Previous studies in epidemiology have shown that people in countries around the world that have been accustomed to eating green tea regularly for hundreds of years are less likely to develop breast cancer. Various studies have suggested that one of the most abundant compounds in green tea may play a role. The compound is called EGCG or epigallocatechin. It is all kinds of tea. However, the amount of green tea is much less than other types of tea. Previous studies have also shown that this EGCG compound does not play a significant role in preventing breast cancer. Only people who have been eating green tea for a long time have a lower risk of developing breast cancer. There is only one reason why this compound in green tea cannot be retained by the human body for a long time.
