Director Sanjay Leela Vansalii’s picture means the glitter of bright stars across the huge canvas. His upcoming film ‘Baiju Baora’ is no exception. Ranbir Kapoor is in the title role in this period film. Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the two main female characters in the film. Stunning casting no doubt. After the breakup, Ranbir and Deepika has done film together. Deepika also has a good relationship with Alia. In this set, Ranbir will probably focus on how he handles his ex and current girlfriend.
Vansali first thought of Ranbir Singh in this role. But the director seems to fit Ranbir Kapoor much better with the screenplay and Baiju Baora. It is rumored to be a remake of the 1952 film Baiju Baora, starring Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari. There is another strong male character in the film. Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgan have been offered for it. Work on the film is set to begin next year. Vansali is now busy shooting for ‘Gangubai Kathiawari’.
