Research finds that Sleep at 10pm linked to lower heart risk

Going to bed early in the morning is good for health, wealth and knowledge – all three of which we have been hearing since childhood. Whether this is true of wealth and knowledge or not, scientists have proved that this is true for health.

Scientists have studied about ninety thousand volunteers and found that going to bed between ten and eleven o’clock at night is extremely beneficial for heart health. The study was published in the European Heart Journal.

It has been said that adjusting one’s life time with the natural clock in the human body reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is very important for the body to adhere to this given clock in order to maintain good health.

The study found that most of the participants who later had a heart attack went to bed before ten or eleven at night. Researchers say that this period of time interferes with the body’s natural clock work.

They also say that the most dangerous time to go to sleep is after midnight. The ideal time to go to bed is between ten and eleven o’clock at night if you want to keep your heart healthy in the long run. And sleep should be seven to 9 hours.

However, it also affects a person’s eating habits, amount of exercise, age and genetic characteristics. So it is important to control weight, exercise regularly, reduce salt and alcohol intake, and maintain a balanced diet.
