Neither the Ministry of Education nor anyone concerned has commented on the exclusion of Islamic education from the secondary education system, the ministry said. The ministry said the matter was completely baseless and rumored.
The Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard on Monday (November 30).

In a report published in the daily Inqilab on November 29 under the headline ‘Education Minister’s statement is an ominous sign for the Muslim nationalism of the country’, Amir of the Islamic Unity Movement Dr. Isha Shahedi, quoting the Education Minister, demanded that Islamic education be excluded from the secondary education system.
In fact, no one in the Ministry of Education has ever commented on the exclusion of Islamic education from the secondary education system, the statement said. Therefore, everyone is specially requested to refrain from spreading such rumors.
