Airports and Getting There
In Dhaka, domestic flights leave from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Kurmitola, in the north of the city. Reach the airport at least 90 minutes before departure, and allow extra time for traffic, especially in the morning and evening rush.
Osmani International Airport is on Airport Road in Sylhet. Besides the Dhaka flights, it handles Biman’s international services to London, Manchester, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jeddah. Kalni Express, Jayantika Express, Parabat Express and Upaban Express run on the Dhaka to Sylhet rail line, and long-distance buses also serve the route.
