If you go from Cox’s Bazar city to Himchori, you can enjoy the hills on one side and the ocean on the other.

If you go to Himchori, stop at park there, here you will be able to enjoy climbing on the hill. On the top of the hill, the green and the blue colors in surrounding will give birth to an eternal joy inside your mind. It seems a bit more enjoyable to see the sun set of Himchori. Because fewer people come at himchori beach compare with Sugandha, Laboni or Kolatoli beach. So you have the opportunity to enjoy the sunset in a calm mind. And here you can enjoy Parasailing. You will have to spend 2,000 taka per round for parasailing.

You will find variety of food in Cox’s Bazar. Some of the traditional restaurants here include Paushi, Jhawban, Ruposhi Bangla, Baishakhi, and Marmaid. At Radiant live fish restaurant, you can enjoy the taste of fresh fish barbecue. Here you can visit their Fish Museum also. Though you have to spend 200 taka to entry in the Fish Museum. You can also take a diverse taste of the marine fish in the Salts restaurant situated beside Long Beach Hotel. But Radiant Live Fish, Marmaid and Salt restaurants are a little expensive. So go at the low cost hotels near Sugandha beach to enjoy various marine fish such as salmon, coral, tuna, octopus, jellyfish, crabs etc. On the way to Sugandha Beech, you can see that these fresh fish are being sold in small hotels. After buying, if you order for fry then they will serve you hot fish fries in 15 to 20 minutes in your table.

Many people like to buy dried fish here actually. If you want to get good drying fish like laita, then the big market of dry fish can be found in Boro Bazar.

You will have to take an auto rickshaw to go to the Boro Bazar. After arriving at Boro Bazar, you will see the big market of dried fish stock in the next street Panbazar in the market. Another way of identifying this market is to get down before the city bank at Boro Bazar and then walk straight through the lane. If you go here then not only you get dried fish, but also you will find the sea fish big wholesale market. If you want, then you can package the live fishes in a cock sheet to carry at home.

The businessman’s here tries to income extra money from tourists in Cox’s Bazar. So you must be tactical in bargain. Check out two or three shops and then purchase something. Here the main way of transportation is the auto-rickshaws. Never get into the auto rickshaw by reserving. Ask the driver to take you in a local service.  When you take the auto rickshaw in reserve, you will be charged 60 taka for 5 taka distance. Here giving an idea of ​​the rent for auto-rickshaw, like, if you want to go to Borobazar from Kotalali, you will pay 10 taka for the full distance and if you get down some places in the middle, then you will have to pay 5 taka.

Why do you miss a trip of Maheshkhali, Inani Beach and St Martin’s island when at Cox’s Bazar?

If you want to go to Maheshkhali you will have to go to normal boat or speed boat from 6 number Ghat in Cox’sBazar. Maheshkhali is the only hilly island of Bangladesh. Do not miss the famous sweet betel leaf of Maheshkhali. Visit here, the traditional Shree Adinath Mandir (Temple) and also some other traditional temples. Enjoy the evergreen forests beauty in your surrounding here.

You can also visit Inani Beach on the way to Teknaf. The specialty of this beach is the rocks here. These rock with transparent sea water makes you peaceful. You can ride on the bike and the horse in the beach. Each ride can take 50 to 100 taka.

Saint Martins or Coral Island is one of the most beautiful place one have ever seen. This island is also called “Narikel Jinjira” due to plenty of coconut production. If you want to go to the island, you have to ride in the ship or the sea truck from Teknaf, the Keari Sindabad ship is the safest here and popular also. Seagulls will add a new dimension of joy to the sea route. If you go to Saint Martins, you will enjoy blue water, marine algae, caraway bush, rock stones, marine coral, and night sky with star fair, Humayan Ahmed’s “Somudra Bilas” and diverse marine fishes.
