Chips and fries weaken bones, children more at risk

We all know more or less about junk food which makes the body fat. However, the researchers said that these foods like chips, hot dogs, French fries also cause severe damage to the bones. Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem recently found this to be the case.

Studies have shown that children who are fed too much chips or grilled packets from a very young age develop bone weakness later in life. From a young age, their bone formation is hampered by the habit of eating ‘fast food’ or grill.

However, it is not only the weakening of the bone structure, but also the fact that children who eat more of these things from a young age have a lower growth rate, the study claimed.

Researchers have found that rats that have been fed a very small amount of grilled food have very weak bones throughout their bodies. From there, they came to the conclusion that children as well as adults should avoid this type of food.
