OFID Scholarship Award

OFID awards its scholarships to qualified international students for postgraduate degree. The aim of the scholarship is to help the graduates to get higher studies by overcoming their financial challenges in their careers path.

Master’s degree programmes can be taken in Worldwide. 
 
Eligibility
You need to meet the following criteria for applying the scholarship
  • Be a citizen of OFID award eligible nationals and accepted for admission to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, from any recognized university/college in the world.
  • Hold  age limit between 23-32 at the time of submitting his/her application.
  • Must have an undergraduate degree or its equivalent or on the verge of completing the degree. 
  • Must have a minimum cumulative CGPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system, or its equivalent.
  • Must select a subject of study that pertains to OFID’s core mission, such as: economics of development (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (desertification), or other related science and technology fields.

Finance

The scholarship provides travel costs, tuition fees, examination fees, health insurance, monthly allowance to cover living expenses, books and accommodation.
 
Eligible country
Applicants from a developing country are eligible to apply (except OFID Member Countries). 
 
Opening and closing date
The application call generally starts every year on January and close on May. 
 
Application procedure
  • If you you fulfill the OFID Scholarship Award Eligibility Criteria then Register within the OFID Scholarship Portal for submitting the application.
  • Fill out the application form and upload necessary documents. 
  • After completion of your application and document upload submit the application but keep in mind that you will be no longer able to make any changes after submission.
