How to write a CV

CV (Curriculum Vitae) format varies with different professionals. If you want to make your CV for academic purpose which should be different from the CV that you made for applying a job. Therefore, the CV that you want to prepare for sending to a professor or scholarship or fellowship that should be different in comparing with professional one.
 
Do not make your CV larger and try to limit in 3 to 4 pages. Try to highlight your all efficiency in the CV and attach your formal picture. Your CV reflect yourself to others that is why do not make the CV colorful and voluminous. Also you should not make any grammatical error and misspellings at your CV. Make the CV simpler and bold the text that you want to highlight. By following the international standard CV format as like Europass make your CV but the information that you should provide in your CV has given below- 
 
This CV format is made for educational purpose. If you want to use this CV for applying a job then you should rearrange the numbers where work experience should remain immediate after your short profile and also use professional references from your recent work.  
Name and address
Mention your name, address, email and phone number.
Short profile
Write a short profile in 3 to 4 lines by mentioning your objective, skill, education and enthusiasm. 
Academic qualifications
Write your education history in reverse chronological order. Start from your last University education. Mention your degree name, University name, department name, passing year, obtained marks or CGPA, major subjects and thesis topics. 
Publications and articles
Share your international peer reviewed journal articles if any. 
Training and Workshop
Write the training and workshops you have joined with venue, duration and host name. 
Language Proficiency
Mention your native language and English language proficiency. Also share your other language expertise if any.
Awards and Achievements
Mention your achievements and distinctions. 
Co-Curricular Activities

Highlight your co-curricular activities that you have performed in University and professional life. 

Interests

Share your interests like singing, reading, travelling, gardening etc. 
Computer Skills
This is very important part in a CV. Share all of your knowledge and skills in computer and software
Work experience
Likewise education, share your work experiences from present or most recent job. Share the title of the job, employer name, project name, job responsibilities and job duration. 
Personal Information
In this section, mention your parents name, present and permanent address, contact address, date of birth, gender, nationality and religion.
References (Three Faculty members name and address)

Use the faculty names to whom you have good relation.
