What to do when you are pregnant

  • Visit a doctor once in a month in your 1st and 2nd trimester and two times in a month in your third trimester.
  • Try to sleep on your left.
  • Drink adequate water.
  • Maintain balanced diet and keep fresh vegetable, fish, nuts, dates, milk, eggs and fruits in your regular food diet.
  • Wear loose and comfortable clothes.
  • Wear correct size and soft shoes.
  • Take additional vitamins and minerals according to doctors suggestion.
  • Take 2 hours rest after lunch and 8 hours sleep at night.
  • Try to eat small meal every two or three hour interval.

What not to do when you are pregnant

  • Do not have sex with your partner in your first and 3rd trimester.
  • Do not eat plenty of food at a time.
  • Do not eat raw egg, under cooked meat, oily food etc.
  • Do not sleep on your back and stomach.
  • Do not smoke and drink alcohol.
  • Do not take stress and avoid risky or heavy work.
  • Avoid risky travel.
  • Do not wear heels shoes.
  • Avoid toxic chemical and bad odor.
  • Avoid taking too much caffeine.
  • Do not gain heavy weight.
  • Do not take any medicine without doctor’s suggestions.
