There is good news for users of Google’s video conferencing service ‘Google Meet’. From now on, different individuals or organizations can show the video of the online meeting in Google Meet directly on the specific YouTube channel. As a result, employees or interested persons will have the opportunity to know the various information of the organization directly. To give this new opportunity, Google has also launched the ‘Live Stream’ facility in the Google Meet app.
Group admins must select YouTube channels and get Google Meet approval to show online meeting videos live. After getting the approval, the live video can be viewed on the YouTube channel only by enabling the ‘Live Streaming’ facility from the Activities panel.
Initially, Google Workspace users will be able to use the ‘Live Stream’ feature of the Google Meet app to broadcast online meeting videos directly to YouTube. In the meantime, this facility has been opened for Google Workspace users in certain countries.
