Murshida, 38 years old woman lives in Nakhalpara basti with her family in Dhaka. She has been living in Dhaka city for the last 10 years. In her family she has two daughters and one younger son.
Her husband work as security guard though he does not give his family expenses regularly and ultimately Murshida bear almost all the expenses of her family. She sells vegetable near slum area and her elder daughter works as maid servant at nearby area. Her living place is situated near rail line area. She always remains feared of eviction.
The households are closely adjacent with each other in the slum. At high temperature in summer she felt lots of problem in slum household due to stuffy environment and contiguous households. Water and sanitation is a usual problem in the slum. Skin infection is a common problem that she faces year round. She is not able to consult with doctors for this problems due to sufficient money. The slum environment remains her vulnerable to the health problems.
