82-year-old man, India’s resident Shridhar Chillal did not cut his nails for 66 years.
Shridhar cut his nail last in 1952 when he was 16 years old. And so at the age of 66, his nails grew 31 ft or 909.6 cm (9.1 m). Among these, his thumb nails are the largest, whose length is 197.8 cm. He was the owner of longest nails and wrote his name in Guinness Book of World Records in 2016. Because the left hand nails were so large, his hand gradually became inefficient and he could not sleep properly also. Finally, in 2018, at the age of 82, she agreed to cut the nails.
Shridhar Chillal requested to preserve his nails and “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” responded to his request. The museum Authority located in Times Square, America. Instead of throwing it, hiss nails has stored in this museum. After 66 years of long time, the museum flew him from Pune, India to New York to cut nails. His nails were cut in a special ceremony in New York.
In his childhood, a teacher’s longer nail was broken for him, for which the teacher gave him punishment. Then he decided to keep big nail. He took that as a challenge. Shridhar is a photographer in profession. This work was stopped for nails, so he made a special handle fro the camera to take photographs in one hand.
