Science has confirmed that second-born babies are actually monsters. They are independent thinkers and you have a hard time going from feeding to walking with them. But don’t worry, there are some reasons behind this behavior.

You may be looking at your second child and thinking, “Am I making such a mistake in raising this child compare with first one?” There is a science behind it. So take a deep breath because every parent is thinking the same thing as you.

In a recent study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, scientists have looked at the effects on delinquency according to birth order. They found that second-born boys were exhibit delinquency problems more than their older siblings.

The study worked with larger data sets children in the United States of Florida and Denmark. The main reason behind this is the time and attention that parents are giving their children.

First-born babies receive most of the attention. They hold a special place in their parents’ hearts because they first bring the parenthood. They live longer on earth than their other siblings, and for the most part have been able to form a strong bond with their parents.

The first children get more attention from their parents so the second children get less attention. Because of this lack of attention, second children may feel that they need to do something so that they can hold the attention of parents.

However, the study does not say that all second babies are about to monsters, but this study can help you answer some of the personality determining questions in the order of birth.
