Seeing the lavish attractiveness of this sweet taste fruit, water came out from the tongue. For the extraordinary taste, Christopher Columbus named it “Fruit of Angels”.

Though its originated in Central America and South Mexico, it is now produced in many countries of the world. Nowadays, papaya is available all-round the year in the market. The appearance of the fruit can be round or pear shaped and can be up to 20 inches in length. The inner color of the papaya can be yellow, orange or red. There are many black seeds in this fruit, which is bitter taste but it is edible. The benefits of papaya are many. Papaya is very nutritious and very useful for health. The fruit rich in carotenes, vitamins C, vitamin B, vitamin A, minerals, potassium, magnesium, fiber etc which help in preventing various diseases in the body.

Papaya helps digestion, regulates blood glucose in patients with diabetes, reduces blood pressure, keeps eyes health well, helps reduce weight, reduces menstrual pain, reduces stress, and prevents cancer.

Papaya reduces cholesterol in the body which reduce the risk of heart disease. Its fiber, Vitamin C and Antioxidants prevent the formation of cholesterol in the body. The fruit contains low calories and rich in fiber so that the weight does not increase and the appetite decreases. Papaya is quite beneficial for arthritis patients. Papaya reduces the early aging. Antioxidant in papaya do not allow age-old impression on the skin. Apply ripe papaya on face two or three times in a week reduce sunburn and increase brightness.
