The Public Service Commission (PSC) released the circular of the two BCSs on Monday night. The 42nd BCS is special and the 43rd is general.
2,000 doctors will be taken through the 42nd special BCS. In the 43rd BCS 1 thousand 814 officers will be taken in different cadres.

According to PSC sources, the online application for the 42nd BCS may start from December 6. The activities will last for 25 days. After that the application process of 43rd BCS will start.
The online application process of BCS can start from 23rd and 24th of December. It will be given time until mid-January.
More than four and a half lakh candidates are waiting for the preliminary examination in the 41st BCS. The PSC has issued a notification for the 41st BCS on November 27,2019 last year. It is to appoint 2,135 officers in different posts.
Besides, PSC has taken the written test of 40th BCS. Now the candidates are waiting for the announcement of the day of oral examination.
Earlier, in the 39th BCS (Special), about five thousand doctors were recruited with MCQ of 200 marks and oral examination of 100 marks.
