Bangladesh Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships 2021 (All you need to know)

Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships is for students from Commonwealth countries. Students from Commonwealth countries after completing a higher education program in the UK can make significant contributions to their home country. It offers a one-year Masters course or equivalent degree and a doctoral degree for a period of three / four years. The package includes economy return international travel, tuition fee and adequate maintenance and other allowances. The subject areas the scholarship covers are Engineering and Technology, Science (Pure and Applied), Agriculture and Humanities and Social Sciences. Information on this scholarship can be found on the websites of the British Council, Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission.

Different Commonwealth countries offer these scholarships to students from other Commonwealth countries. Earlier, emphasis was laid on Masters and Doctoral levels, but now Commonwealth Scholarships are being offered for short professional courses, including distance learning and undergraduate level.
