A joint hypermarket of Bangladesh-India-Pakistan traders in Abu Dhabi
The journey of Ariz Al Medina, a hypermarket started by a joint venture of Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani businessmen at Sanaiya No. 11, Mochaffar, an industrial city in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The company was inaugurated on Thursday afternoon. This is the first time in the UAE that the first Hyper Market has been inaugurated at the initiative of Jasba, an association of six traders from the three countries.
Engineer Moazzem Hossain, president of Bangladesh Samiti along with local sponsors Mohammad and Ahmed, cut the ribbon and started the journey of the company. Two local sponsors, Syed Ahmed and Syed Mohammad, welcomed the trilateral-owned business venture.
Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Moazzem Hossain, President of Bangladesh Samiti, said that for the first time in the UAE, having such a trilateral-owned institution would brighten the national image as well as warm the relations between the citizens of the three countries. More domestic workplaces will be created in the UAE.
