Worlds first approved Coronavirus Vaccine

The United Kingdom is the first country in the world to approve the coronavirus vaccine of Pfizer and Biontech. The country’s Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA) has given its approval.

The BBC and The Guardian reported on Tuesday, citing the regulatory body, that the vaccine was 95 per cent effective in preventing corona. The start of vaccination activities has been approved considering it safe. This activity will start in a day or two.

Different teams have been separated on the basis of priority. The United Kingdom has already ordered 40 million doses of vaccine from Pfizer and Biontech. It is also expected that 20 million British citizens will be vaccinated. Within a few days, the UK government will receive one crore vaccines in the first phase.

According to the BBC, coroner’s vaccine will be given to the health workers in the first step. The next step will be given to those over 50 years of age. The second booster dose will be given 21 days after the first dose.

This vaccine of Pfizer and Bioentech is the shortest vaccine made in the world considering the approved production starting from the research. Vaccines from Pfizer, a US multinational pharmaceutical company, and Bioentech, a German biotechnology company, have been effective in just 10 months.

It usually takes about a decade to get a vaccine for a disease.

UK Health Minister Matt Hancock tweeted, ‘The relief team is in a state of readiness. The National Health Service (NHS) authorities will start administering the vaccine early next week.

However, experts say that even after the introduction of the vaccine, social distance must be maintained to prevent infection.
