Native region- Europe, Africa, the Mediterranean, and parts of Asia
Cultivation- Lavenders flourish best in dry, well-drained, sandy or gravelly soils in full sun.
Type- The plant is a low-growing and bushy shrub.

What is Lavender oil?
Lavender oil derives from the plant’s blue-purple flowers. This essential oil is added to many products such as aromatherapy oils, lotions, gels, teas and soaps. Besides of broader skin benefits the oil also use to treat anxiety, headaches, and painful burns. It reduce stress and anxiety which improve your quality of sleep, thereby promoting healthy and radiant skin. The oil helps to release stress, promote relaxing sleep, lower skin irritation, prevent skin infections and eliminate dandruff.
Lavender oil skin benefits:
Lavender oil work for all types of skin and combat against acne. It works as antibacterial, anti-inflammatoryand fungicidal. Lavender oil has profound benefits on your skin because of its antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics. Also due to its high level stress-reducing capacity, the oil works excellent against acne.
 
Skin rejuvenation- This essential oil rejuvenate the skin with relaxing effect.
Skin treatment- Lavender oil has antibacterial properties which combat against acne and use treating acne problems. 
Skin nourishing- It soothes and nourishes skin, healing dry skin, and reducing the appearance of dark spots and scars caused by acne.
Lavender oil apply procedure on skin:
The oil can use by dilution or directly on the skin depending on the skin types. You can use lavender oil with distilled water, tea tree oil, jojoba oil, almond or olive oil.  You can treat individual pimples with diluted lavender oil applied directly with a cotton swab. The best lavender oil treatment for body acne is in the bath.
 
Direct apply
·      Wash your face.
·      Apply a few drops of lavender oil on acne, pimples or spots by using a cotton ball.
·      Leave for few hours.
·      Repeat regularly for best results.
 
Apply by dilution
·         Wash your face
·         Take half cup of water and 3-4 drops of lavender oil
·         Add drops of the oil to the water and mix well.
·         Apply it to the affected area or the whole face.
·         Leave it on for 20-25 minutes, and once it dries rinse with cool water and pat dry.
·         Apply your moisturizer
 
Caution:  Avoid the application of lavender oil to the mucous membranes and to sensitive areas like the eyes, nostrils or lips. Like all essential oils, lavender can cause allergic reactions and skin irritation in some people in that case dilute the oil before use by distilled water, tea tree oil, jojoba oil, almond or olive oil etc.
